Nowruz, the Persian New Year, is full of beautiful traditions. Before the new year, we buy new clothes to wear when the year changes. We celebrate with family, and one of the traditional dishes is Sabzi Polo Ba Mahi (herb rice with fish).

The holiday lasts about two weeks, and during this time, we visit family, starting with the elders.
We also give and receive ‘Eidi’ (gifts of money). It’s a time of joy, renewal, and connecting with loved ones.”
